Studio FAQ

Remove image backgrounds, privately

Transparent PNGs and clean white product photos in seconds, one image or a whole batch. With Snipbare Studio, every photo comes out sized for Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and Instagram, with a soft shadow, in one ZIP. The AI runs on your own device, so your photos are never uploaded.

Snipbare Studio

Background removal stays free. Studio turns each photo into every marketplace size at once (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Instagram, transparent PNG) with an optional soft shadow, for whole batches. Free users get 3 Studio photos a day to try it.

Card checkout by Stripe; your key appears the moment payment finishes, no account. 14-day money-back promise: if it doesn't work as described, email us within 14 days and we fix it or refund you in full (terms). For comparison, Photoroom Pro is $12.99/month or $7.50/month billed yearly, and remove.bg charges $9 for 40 images (their pricing pages, 1 Oct 2026); both process your photos on their servers.

How to remove a background

Drop one or more photos above. Snipbare finds the subject, removes everything else and shows a before/after slider. Pick Transparent for a PNG you can place anywhere, or a White, colour or blurred background, then download one image or all of them as a ZIP.

White-background product photos for Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify

Pick the Best model (products and objects), then White and Product photo. Snipbare crops to the product, centres it on a square canvas (1000 to 3000 px) with the margin you set and exports a JPG. Marketplaces generally ask for a pure white main image with the product filling most of the frame; check your marketplace's current image rules before listing.

Product photo sizes for Amazon, Etsy, eBay and Shopify in one go

Finish your cutouts, then open Studio, tick the marketplaces and press Export for marketplaces. Each photo is centred on a white canvas at that marketplace's size (Amazon 2000×2000 with the product filling about 85%, Etsy 3000×2250, Shopify 2048×2048, eBay 1600×1600, Instagram 1080×1350) with an optional soft shadow, and everything lands in one ZIP.

Why not Photoroom or remove.bg?

Both are good and both upload your photos to their servers. Photoroom Pro is $12.99/month ($7.50/month billed yearly) and remove.bg sells 40 images for $9 (their pricing pages, 1 Oct 2026). Snipbare removes backgrounds free on your device, and Studio is $9/month, $79/year or $5 for 30 days with no per-image credits.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The page downloads an open AI model once (it's cached afterwards) and runs it in your browser with WebGPU, or on the CPU if your browser has no WebGPU. Your images stay on your device, which makes Snipbare safe for unreleased products, client work and personal photos.

Which model should I use?

Fast (MODNet, Apache-2.0) is a 7 MB portrait model: great for people and headshots, and quick on phones. Best (BiRefNet-lite, MIT licence, in beta) handles products, objects, animals and people with fine edges, but is a much larger one-time download (about 115 MB with a GPU, 224 MB without), so use it on a desktop. Both allow commercial use.

Tips for clean edges

Use a photo where the subject is in focus and stands out from the background. Move the Edge slider to the right for crisp product outlines, or to the left to keep soft hair and fur.

Privacy policy

Snipbare (this page and the Snipbare Chrome extension) collects no personal data. Your photos are processed by an AI model running on your own device and are never uploaded to CyberMax or anyone else. The only download is the open-source model file itself (from Hugging Face, once, then cached by your browser). There are no accounts, analytics cookies or ads in the tool. If you buy Snipbare Studio, payment is handled by Stripe, and the app checks your licence key with CyberMax's licence server (only the key is sent, never your photos). The Chrome extension asks for no permissions: its toolbar button just opens the background remover inside the extension. This web page counts anonymous page views; the extension does not.
